Who is coming to the market this Saturday?

About the Market

As most of you know, a garden center is a seasonal business and for the last few years Tom Gossett, owner of Gossett Brothers Nursery, was looking for ideas to enhance the nursery’s role in the community during the long winter months when the nursery is normally closed.

Pat Imbimbo, the owner of New England Farms, managed a small farmers' market that was looking for a location that could host a farmers' market year round. As fate would have it, Tom bumped into Pat and in the fall of 2008-Gossett's Farmers' Market was born.

The market runs year round with seasonal vendors coming and going. In the Spring, Summer and early Fall you can find the market outside tucked into the nursery and surrounded by the lush and colorful plant offerings from Gossett Brothers Nursery.

In the late Fall and Winter, the market moves into the Gossett's greenhouse, warmed by a wood burning stove and the winter sun. Aromas of pies, homemade breads and hot cider fill the market. Patrons are kept warm and dry as they enjoy the offerings of the only year-round farmers' market in the area.

At the Gossett's Farmers' Market, you’ll find fresh organic food from our vendors and local talent who love to share their passion in whatever art, craft or discipline they specialize in. We also feature "Taste the Market", a compilation of vendors products cooked and offered to the customer. So come visit us, the market runs every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. rain or shine.

The Katonah Community Center sets up a weekly table that you can donate non perisable food items for those in need that we will bring to the center for you.

We know that there are several different Farmers' Markets you can visit and we thank you for choosing Gossett's Farmers' Market.
