The Nursery shuts down its daily operations on December 24 at 3:00 PM, and reopens in March. We open our doors on Saturdays from 9–1 for the Farmers' Market in our warm and cozy greenhouse.

Gossett Brothers Nursery is a family-owned, local landmark that has been serving the community for over 35 years.  You have probably seen our quaint cottage as you are passing by on Route 35 in South Salem. During the growing season, we are hard to miss because the lush color of our flowering plant displays. 

The retail nursery offers a stunning seasonal array of container trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals, as well as a custom container service and a beautifully stocked greenhouse.  We can promise you that we have plants for everyone, from the novice gardener to the connoisseur. 

If you’re shopping for balled and bur-lapped trees and shrubs or have a large landscape project in mind, owner Tom Gossett has the vision, the expertise and the machinery to handle almost any on-site installation.
